Amazing Brands can be traced to 2008, when founder, Stephen Siegel, acquired his first Hotel & Casino called Gold Spike. As his first stint into food and beverage, Siegel renovated the Gold Spike casino gaming floor to contain a bar, a pizza grab-and-go joint and the Golden Grill restaurant, which was known for selling hundreds of the famous $6.99 Prime Rib special each day.

All the while excelling at this property, Siegel decided to acquire the struggling Resort on Mount Charleston, a hotel lodge located in the mountains above Las Vegas. Long considered a touchstone among residents and visitors, Siegel transformed this resort to new heights, which he made known for its gaming, full-bar, restaurant, and banquet facilities, which hosted Murder Mystery Dinners, large holiday buffets, and many other large-scale events.

As the expansions grew quickly, Siegel acquired the Artisan Hotel Boutique in 2009 and formed a plan to reposition the unique property creating themed invite-only pool parties, a very popular after-hours nightclub, multiple bars, a swanky restaurant and a “buyout” option allowing guests to rent the entire property.

In May 2010, Siegel acquired the closed-down St. Tropez Hotel and transformed it into Rumor Boutique Hotel boasting the aesthetic where Palm Springs meets Miami Beach. During this transition, Siegel built several new amenities, upgraded the property to include a full-service restaurant, multiple bars, the addition of slot machines, meeting spaces, spacious designer signature hotel suites, two pools and an outdoor resort style courtyard, which hosted themed parties.

Already a hospitality maestro, after bringing the first ever boutique hotel scene to Las Vegas, Siegel would dive into the food and beverage sector with more fervor than ever.

In 2018, Siegel took over the iconic local’s deli, Bagelmania, an old-school Jewish delicatessen that was originally opened in 1989 at the corner of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street. This spot is where the who’s who would hangout enjoying New-York style bagels and famous deli favorites. From a young age, Siegel frequented famous Los Angeles delis admiring the food, energy, and atmosphere created inside those walls. His lifelong experience and love of the food and concept is what inspired him to acquire and reimagine a legendary staple, welcoming a brand-new flagship restaurant: Siegel’s Bagelmania. The 10,000 square-foot restaurant and delicatessen on Convention Center Drive in Las Vegas boasts a beautiful mid-century modern design that pays tribute to an old school family-centric dining experience.

In 2020, Siegel’s Bagelmania expanded into Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

All the while falling in love with bagels, Siegel stumbled upon another mom-and-pop Las Vegas home-grown brand, Pinkbox Doughnuts. He and his family had been huge Pinkbox fans since 2012. Siegel fell in love and once again saw huge potential for another brand’s growth.

After years of persuading, Pinkbox’s original founder finally sold the doughnut shop to Siegel in 2018. Since acquiring the company, Siegel has turned the business into an unlike-before, recognizable brand not only for Las Vegas locals but now for fans across the country. This doughnut shop is where your imagination comes to life. From the moment you arrive, the first thought you have is “WOW!” The shops are filled with animated drips of frosting , colorful sprinkles on the walls, lively pink stripes on the floors, eye-catching neon lights, Instagramable 3D characters, all leading you to a glass display case full of the most delicious doughnuts you have ever seen. All enjoyed by an jampacked crowd of customers flowing out the front door.

As these two prominent brands continue to grow, naturally Stephen Siegel created a company known as Amazing Brands, which oversees the operations of both entities and now focuses on creating, acquiring, reimagining and growing the most craveable, delectable, mouthwatering food and beverage concepts in the world.
